Hilary Topper, our CEO, recently appeared with Arthur Germain, Darren Cioffi, and Kevin Wood on a Podcast Panel at the HIA Virtual Trade Conference on Thursday, October 8. Brian Cohen of Long Island Speakers Bureau was the moderator.
During the panel presentation, Hilary talked about her podcast, HilaryTopperonAir.com, and about her blogs – NYLifestyleBlog.com and ATriathletesDiary.com.
Podcasting is Hard Work
She talked about the hard work and effort it takes to produce a podcast. “If you’re starting out,” she said, “consider being a guest on someone else’s podcast. This will help you expand your community.”
Although tools weren’t discussed, the group did say that their podcasts go out to many different services including iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon Alexa.
The group talked about how they get guests and what they discuss with their guests. Brian was an excellent moderator and brought the conversation full circle concluding the seminar.
